Can anyone tell me what model CRKT and Spyderco those are? Thanks much.

Mike

Man, I'm sorry, for some reason I remeber this picture as being posted by you:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1043847-Just-pix-of-knives?p=15060404#post15060404
When I found it this morning, turned out to be posted by Czechmate... My bad, I owe you a beer...

Those three today:

Spyderco Sub-hilt Vallotton (I believe is the full name of the model) and CRKT folding Razel.

If I was feeling less lazy, I'd mimic your picture with my own knives. LOL Oh wait, you has my Razel, so I'd have to do it with just the Vallotton and my Sodbuster! :D

The Razel is fine, I like the looks of it a lot and honestly, I was using mine for the last few days a lot and found out that it could use better steel for every day work... I'm sure you're not surprised to hear it... :D
But the Buck is something else... I didn't cut nothing but paper with it, but I love everything about this knife, seriously... I'll be looking around for one, right now I'm on a hunt for a Starmate or Whaleshark but if I come across one of those Bucks I'll grab it immediately :D

Okay, I'm pretty proud to say that there are not a ton of knives here that make me absolutely jealous. Sure ther, are some that are really cool and I would realy want one if given the chance, but most of the time that's bout it.
That knife has me absolutely and completely jealous right now. Totally and shamelessly coveting right now. Stan Wilson is one of if not my all-time favorite knife makers, and I never see much of his work on here...I think I might hate you, and it's totally not your fault ;)

Thanks! Stan makes incredible knives, and I'm always amazed that he is not worshiped as a God :devilish: ...and I have to admit I'm only carrying one of these today... :D

Ha ha ha... Well, not a great fan of Jack, I loove me some good bourbon but Jack is on the too sweet site for me.
Anyway, slim chance to see me in Kanzas but if you ever come down Florida on vacation, I'll be happy to have Jack and Coke with you anytime
I hope you're doing well, I enjoy your pictures, best of luck to you man !

It's not going to be Jack but I'll have one of those for you tonight, looks like a good evening for it and a it's always nice to find a good reason for a quick drink... :D
(recycled picture, sorry...)

Haha I'm not really a drinker, but I have the tolerance of a moose because I'm a big guy and mostly Irish, so lighter drinks don't really appeal to me, but bourbon is still a little too much at the same time. What're ya gonna do though?

Very nice shot btw. Glad I could give you a good excuse for one of those ;)
Don't bother coming to Kansas if you can avoid it, (terribly boring place here) but I'll definitely let you know if I ever end up in Florida ;)

Around the house carry

I absolutely love seeing well-loved Shirogorovs :D
They are made for it, and so few people give them the use and attention they deserve!

*Picks jaw up off the floor*

Okay, now I hate you, and it IS your fault...
You are probably the single person on this entire forum I envy the most right now...damnit ;) :P

I scored a Les George VECP out of his last batch... Man I love this knife. It is very smooth. Locks up tight and is sharp as a laser. What I like most is the simplicity of the profile. Its just a simple, clean and smooth deisg that lends itself well to all grips and can be tactical, utilitarian or gentlemanly.

Really need to get me an old pivot Umnumzaan! Like the custom file fixie too!

Zaan and Soddie day today

Thanks! Ya something about the old pivot just says "the boss" like it should. ;). And after seeing those two together I think I'll be grabbing a soddie as well.

It's so good at what it does I just can't keep it away from cutting stuff, or just hanging in the pocket at the ready. It sure is a big blade though so it doesn't come out much around sheeple.

That's why you just have to add another knife to the rotation to go with it man ;)
That's what my Dunlap and my Victorinox knives are for :D

Totally agree, although I certainly don't NEED any more. But something about the lines and organic look of the sodbuster it's calling to me in way it hasn't before. Ya know like every next blade that calls to me...ha.

Do it, do it, do it!

I love the sodbuster, and it's my cousin's favorite non-modern folder of all time. Great working knives as well, espcially if you get th version that GEC makes if you want something a little more refined, or a Case sodbuster if you want something rugged that you can have no worries at all about beating on.

Well, I'm back.

I got WICKED mad at my Sebenza a week or so ago.
It took all my willpower to not throw it. :D
I couldn't get the darn thing sharp. Even after an hour or so of sharpening.
Well, it's usable sharp now. Not shaving, but it will cut.

I've been carrying a CV Sodbuster Jr for the last week and a half, but I can't take it anymore. I gotta have my Sebenza back in my pocket.
It's a nice knife and all, but it has too many imperfections.
I loved playing with the patina though. And it was SCREAMING sharp.
But that's besides the point. I love my Sebenza too much to keep leaving it at home.

I guess I'll use it with the edge it has now until I get ambition to sharpen it more.
