Okay, that is an awesome blade!
Love ZDP-189, and I haven't seen Al Mar work in it before. What did they treat the blade to?
Man I love that design with that blade on it! And I usually do not like lock-backs in larger blades

Oh god, man I'm sorry I got a notification about someone else here and thought it was you. Sorry about that man!

Totally did not mean to direct that at you :(

Yeah...a little anger got in my eyes, guys, sorry...:(

No worries :) Was just confused for a minute there haha.

I love the size. I have a thing for the Navaja style blades.

I generally like the look of them but have never really gotten myself to carry one for one reason or another. I guess a lot of it is that I work in an office some of the time and when I need to use a knife, it's easier to have people be okay with it when they look a little less agressive than that style.

The size does look really good on it from what I've seen though. And if Emerson gets anything right it's their ergos so I know it's comfortable to use ;)

LOL'd Yeah I scared a nurse once when I had to empty my pockets.

Thank you John, it is my first SG. The Bad Monkey was just a little too large for me so I never took the leap. The Spider Monkey is a perfect size.

Our vacation was fantastic, went to SD and saw the big faces! Had a great time! The Black Hills and Badlands are an amazing place, needless to say I did not want to return to the daily grind.

To keep things on topic ;), I carried my BM Small Summit Lake and a Juice S2 the whole vacation.

Amazing pictures, Erik! Seems like a ton of fun was had!!!

Excellent pics on the last several pages, I'm still catching up!!

You should watch your words here, my friend, especially as a member with very few posts. This is a place for us to share our hobby and our passions, as well as our opinions, but it is not a place to pick fights or to be rude for no reason towards another member here.

You have a right to your own opinion, but that was blatantly uncalled for, and downright rude to a man who is showing his love for his wife. Frankly, it is uncalled for, unreasonable, and unfair.
Thank you brother. I appreciate that very much.
I didn't think anybody minded when I made the carving in the table. Hell, there was a guy sitting across from me 3 feet over doing the same thing.
It must be a "southern thing" or something. Around these parts it's like a rite of passage to carve your initials in one of the tables at that old park.
As for Dic... I mean Tachead01, send me an email and let's talk about it like big boys.

I just couldn't let that stand at all. I love gestures like that, and to insult what you did like that is never an okay thing to do.

I really can't imagine anyone having an issue with the carvings. There are some places I have seen that were full of them, and it was more of an attraction for the place than anything else.
Maybe it is a southern thing. I was born in Amarillo and grew up in Dallas, and I saw dozens of parks with the same done when I was a kid. Even here in Kansas, it isn't that odd to see some of them in the local parks, though more on trees than the benches.
I have a tree out in a nice clearing not far from my old house where my girlfreind and I did the same. Could still find it with my eyes closed after 4 years if I had to ;)

Benchmade 300 flipper and an old Craftsman jack that my mother-in-law gave me... The tip was broken off but I fixed that on my WSKO last night.
