Thanks! :) It's from a great Czech maker Vaclav Dokoupil (MacWasil knives) - awesome guy to work with. The OAL is about 8 inches and the damascus is a W pattern. The wood is stabilized Buckeye Burl I believe. I like it so much I contacted him about making me another flipper with a different blade-shape :)

Thanks for the info. That's a keeper for sure. I will have to check him out. How is this one deployed? I don't see a stud, knick or flipper tab.

Edit. I think I might have seen it on his website gallery. Flipper?

Ah yes.. you said "another flipper"

Very nice knives. I want a fixed blade from him now!

I'm on the first leg of my trip to California. Stopped in Vanburen Arkansas, got a room, a steak dinner with a double shot of Crown Royal and a Heineken. Here's what I carried today.


Before I left town this morning, I hooked up with a knife buddy of mine and he offered me a deal I could not refuse on this new to me Strider SNG. I like it a lot, but I'm not as up to date as I should be on Strider lore, so I don't know what model and steel it is. Any of you guys have a clue? The blade is Hollow ground.

^SnG 3/4 grind digicam blade. If it isn't marked - it's probably s30v. Looks like standard handles that someone modded and they polished the pivot.:thumbup:

I used to carry a Kershaw Leek but it grew legs and ran away...
