EDC - What's In Your Pocket(s)??? Part 2

Cold Steel Recon 1.

Just ordered a Rat 4 by Ontario Knife.

Got it $55.77 new in the box. I know old stock.

But, I bought it because of the price and it is a Rat 4.

So, let it be ok deal?

Heres my usual EDC for school or when Im out and about. For the most part I dont carry both the Microstream and the Maratac, but the Microstream has a better clip so if I am clipping IWB thats the light I use.

I don't think Ontario makes a Rat 4. Could it be a 3 or 5?

I wish BM would have gone with the mid size Pocket Rocket. The MPR just ain't big enough.

Finally got around to taking some more EDC pics. These were shot with my Canon SD870IS so I could include my S90 and G11 set ups in the pics. Depending on where I'm going, I'll alternate between the S90 and G11. The 870IS was replaced by these two, and is now sitting impatiently on my bookshelf waiting for my wife's SD700IS to kick the bucket.
Here are the 3 cameras for reference (shot with the SD700IS). I've since added the Richard Franiec grip to the S90 for better hand-holding of the camera. That's the small black wavy piece attached at the lower left of camera in the full EDC pic below this one.

Set up includes:
Maui Jim sunglasses
iPhone 3G
Audi A4 key
TEC Accessories P-7 Stainless Steel Pocket Clip attached to fishing kit ball-bearing swivel attached to McGizmo SS clip attached to split ring and Spyderco Honey Bee (I walk with this sometimes)
Victorinox watch
Spare Panasonic CR123 battery for my Fenix PD20 Q5 light
16Gb Super-Talent micro thumb drive
Amo91 Steel Windproof Butane Lighter from Deal Xtreme ($2.68US if you're interested. I got 3)
Zebra F-301 pen
Secure-A-Key belt clip holding Blue EDC Depot capsule containing allergy tablets, black one containing Advil, keys
2nd TEC pocket clip with TEC Pico Pen, Leatherman Squirt P4, Vic Midnite MiniChamp and Battery Junction Fauxton.

This is the normal EDC. I alternate between the Dragonfly and Caly3, don't usually walk with both. My backup for these two is usually a BM Mini Grip which is more of a beater than these two, or my VG10 Delica4 FRN.

Here's both the S90 and G11 with their respective kits. The bag for the S90 is the Lowepro REZO 30.

I have an s90 with the same grip. The shot button on that cam is misplaced. It should have been where the dial is, and the dial should have been where the shot button is. Other than that, it's a great cam for when the dlsr is too much to carry.

Agreed it is a great camera. I just got it a couple weeks ago but got the G11 in Buffalo a week before it was available here in Toronto back in October. I left my D300 at home and took the G11 and SD870IS to Maui back in March and am quite happy with the pics the G11 took.
here's a DP Review thread and gallery of pics I posted showing some of the G11 and SD870IS pics if you're interested.

As far as placement of buttons on the S90 I think the Ring Function button and Power button are in the reverse positions. I'm fine with where the Mode dial is at the top corner. (Pic for reference for those of you not familiar with these cameras. G11 at bottom, S90 in middle and SD870IS at the top right)
