Why do the .38s on the speed strip look like they're blue?

They are Federal Nyclad. A soft lead 158 gr semi wad cutter covered in nylon son it doesn't lead the barrel. The modern version of the old FBI load.

The amount of stuff people can carry in their pockets amazes me. I have always had this slight aversion to having things in my pockets. Is it weird to love pocket-knives but hate having things in ones pocket?

That's what pocket clips are for!
I have a similar aversion to having a bunch of stuff jangling around. Organization is good.
Carabiners, clips, holsters, etc. All are friends.
