I am loving the wood handles, it makes such a nice change from seeing everything being "tacticool black".

Sadly I don't think I could get away with the axe

I have edced everything in my picture, I do try to take good care of my stuff, and a lot of it rarely gets used, but I do carry it.

Lately I've been considering the virtues of a much more minimal EDC, I think I may go back to that. It worked out pretty well in the past.

There's no such thing as a safe queen in this house.

For me there's a difference between a casual edc that you would use to go bombing around town on your day off, and an edc that you take to work or into the woods.
Sure my casual stuff gets used, but not that hard. As you can see

Now my work edc that's a different story. I'd much rather beat on a 100$ Benchmade then a 400$ Chris Reeve knife.

well you are kinda right. I have never used my whistle or paracord bracelet in an EDC capacity.
