whts those pry bars on yor picture?
something fancy (like, Atwood's) or just ordnary, wrapped in paracord?

Nothing fancy Lenny, just $3.00 prybars from the hardware store and wrapped in paracord. I colored them with a propane torch.

Atwood's are nice and I started to get caught up in the moment, which is easy to do but I just couldn't shell out the cash for one and there is a satisfaction of doing one of your own.

Thanks for asking,

hatchetjack-

Yermom,

WOW, I thought I carried a lot! What do you do for a living?

Hatchetjack, what do you need the prybars for, and why do you carry two?

Just curious:)

wouldnt the heat from the torch take the temper out of the prybar?

Hey, it's only $2.99 and I don't plan on tearing a house down with it. It's really to save my knife tip from being abused. :D

nygiantsfan-

The other prybar with the skull lanyard is also a pseudo impact tool. I caught some heat on the Practical Tactical for making a kubaton out of a Craftsman center punch but what the heck...if it gets me out of a pickle then it's worth it, right!

i'm a Unix admin... it's probably a bit of overkill most of the time ;)

but i have many times handed a coworker my SAK for a second screwdriver while we were racking/unracking a server or something

i'm always taking something apart somewhere, so basically never hunting for a screwdriver or pliers is nice

Nice job, newertheless! A small neat prybar is good companion for a knife…

I keep an Atwood Bug Out Bar in my jacket at all times. Yes, it has come in handy. And I also carry a Prybaby daily.

My wife is an IT manager and she uses the Gerber Nautilus I gave her. It has an LED that pops out and shines on the tip of the knife. THe nautilus has a lot of other tools too; she loves it, and she gave me my Kershaw back:)

Been a while since I visited and my edc has changed a slight bit. I am now carrying a Case Barlow in my left front pocket and a new Jeff Hall Phalanx folder in my right pocket. I must say I feel prepared for whatever may arise.

Hello to all,

Well its the weekend.. or,, at least it is for me!.:D.. and I am taking my lovely wife and all my great little kids out to dinner to there favorite Chinese restaurant like we do about every month or so. Since we dress a little more formally than usual, I thought I would slip my favorite Gentleman's folder into my custom leather belt sheath for this occasion.. This one has natural Apple Coral scales from the south Pacific which compliments his awesome little artwork(he calls them 'first people') on the bolsters and blade with its Copper/Silver/Carbon Steel Damascus complete with Ruby thumb stud, all made up by my favorite South African maker, Mr. Theuns Prinsloo.

Since it's Sunday and I'm at home I don't have alot to show. Car keys, a Schrade Kious reverse congress damascus slip joint, with slip pouch and a Greg Lightfoot Dress Companion with a Blue shark skin covered kydex sheath. Ok ok I know the Lightfoot is not technically in my pocket .... But it's close!

SunnyD that is GORGEOUS. My hat goes off to you. I also applaud your good taste. It is a work of art without being gaudy. Great peice. Thank you fpr sharing.

Thank You razorsdescent!. Although I have limited means, that was one knife I actually "splurged" on. Its the only real high end folder I own.. I don't know, I was just drawn to its beauty, just as you describe! It came hair popping sharp right out of the box too.

Many Blessings,

Anthony
