I like micarta (though G-10 is pretty nifty too) ...

I'm too cheap to carry the fancy stuff regularly:o.

Hey Al,

The pentagon works really well actually. It's a single l.e.d. bulb and works on one AA battery. I have a surefire that I love to death but it runs on two lithiums and they don't last all that long and are pretty expensive to boot. This little pentagon was picked up for me by a friend at the Cabelas in Pheonix and I love it. It gets quite a bit of illumination out of the one AA battery.

As far as the little "keg" on the keychain goes, 20 years ago, when I was in high school a buddy of mine worked at a pet store. They sold these things with a little piece of paper to write your dog's name, address, and phone number on in case he got lost. You know how high school is though, he thought they resembled a keg of beer and swiped a half dozen of them. I've kept it on my keychain ever since and usually keep a couple of advil inside.

AlWilliams, what knife is that? its just got this really beautiful shape. Now if only it could be waved..... Also, is that a .38 or .357?

Still that is probably the cleanest looking folder I have ever seen! I LOVE it!

Today an SE Delica and an Opinel # 8 will serve me well.

Why does your light stay at home during the day. I find having a flashlight on me 24 hours very useful - it gets dark inside buildings when the lights go out!
 
It's just rare I ever need it during the day. I guess I don't spend enough time indoors. I plan to buy another keychain light for daytime use though. Better than nothing.
 
Spyderco Caly 3 and always my Mercator K55 Cat Knife,which fits nicely in my sewn in knife pocket.
 
Just received a new CF/ZDP Caly 3. I believe this will be my EDC for a very, very long time. The quality of materials and fit/finish is simply outstanding. The lockup is the best I've seen; no perceptible movement horizontally or vertically.
 
Just received a Protech TR-3 all stainless construction last week so it has been my edc since arriving. Still carrying the Case Barlow, Surefire E1e, and my Samsung Blackjack. But who knows what next week might bring as it could be ZT0200, BM Rukus 610, or my Strider AR. They all bring me joy!:D:thumbup:
 
Today I switched to my new Skirmish, black blade, gray handle. Sounds funny, but it carries "smaller" than my Manix.
 
Just recently added a Kershaw Groove, Mini Mojo, and ENER-G. These will go into rotation as I'm retiring my "special" ENER-G and Mini-Cyclone Ti/ZDP.
