Did you read the above quote? The essential meaning of the word criminal is "one who breaks laws". I wait I forgot they follow handgun laws.
Oh and my current EDC is a MOD Mark I, since the winter coats are coming out.

Mu usual day to day load.
.45 Kinber CDP II in Mitch Rosen Workman holster.
.32 NAA Guardian in Desantis ankle holster.
Large Benchmade Rukus in right front pocket.
Small BM Rukus in left front pocket.
Surefire U2 flashlight carried in Mitch Rosen SOS along with spare mag for .45
Leatherman Charge XTi carried in ankle pouch on right ankle, along with another spare .45 mag and a spare .32 mag and spare 123A batteries for the light.
Gee, I wonder if I forgot anything?

A gated community? No, just a community other than American. In fact, communities all over the world, and no where else is there such a paranoia that is expressed in the absolute need, and pride, to have the right to carry arms.
I had an idea as to why, but no one has ever given me their full calm opinion without getting defensive and heated. Charlie Fox answered my question exactly as I wanted it answered and he wasn't a patriotic condescending redneck asshole ;) in his explanation, and I appreciate that.
My opinion on the matter has changed, I used to not like that civilians carry guns in your country, now I just don't like that people like you are allowed to.

Note the winking smilie face so I can pretend I'm being friendly, if there was one blowing you a kiss I would've used that.

LOL ! :D

Thanks for showing your true colors and the ridiculous assumptions you have about America and those who inhabit it.

Like I said, you already knew the answer before asking. Rather than being straight forward and honest, you decided to post it in your own special "cute" way. I'll admit, it was nice of Charlie Fox to answer your question. Sorry if my response was not to your liking, your Majesty. But it was a blatantly honest one. If you can't handle that type of response, perhaps BF is not the place for you. (Trust me, the response you got was quite polite.... compared to what some of the Regulars on BF would have posted).

As for your assumptions.... Calling me a Redneck is like calling Jesse Jackson a Grand Wizard in the KKK.

I live in NYC. I was originally born in Communist Russia. My dad was kicked out of the country rather than executed because the government officials learned he had a large extended family that he cared about. They decided to let him live and suffer in exile. His crime? He disagreed with how the Communists were running the country. Problem is, he dared to actually express his opinion in Public.... Yeah, no such thing as the First Amendment in Communist Russia, or civilian firearms ownership for the masses either.

I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand why the 2nd Amendment or why firearms ownership is important to those of us here in America. But if you are curious about something, ask in a straight forward manner. You know, rather than pretending that you're superior to those who choose to carry firearms and other S.D. gear. The snobby tone of your post is why you got that sort of response from me. And like I said, I was far nicer to you than some BFers would have been.

A Russian Redneck living in NYC.... LOL !

Thanks for the laugh. :D

Oh I am English so I come from a background of being afraid of knives. Yet I am getting my CCW license as soon as I am able.

And just why are the English afraid of knives?
Firearms have a lot longer reach than any blade.
The Nanny State got to you, huh?
Really good to see you overcoming that.

The next obvious step after gun control is knife control.

Got to get past Gun control first. They have not been too successful here lately. Now, over in England and Australia the criminals run the show because of the success of the antis. Hope it never happens here. But if the Hildabeast wins in 08, who knows?:barf:

Because we all know that the world is filled with only nice people who just want to give out free hugs to everyone who's not a cop.

triz neena,

I thought this was pretty humorous myself, I didn't see any call for hurling insults at Monocrom as it was obvious he was just joking with you. Lighten up a little, have some fun here.:D

Thank you! ..... For having a sense of humor and recognizing my post for what it actually was.

Not too proud to admit that I'm jealous of your cool gear.

back on topic boys and girls...this is ridiculous.

Digressions make a nice conversation. I will make it short. The french guy i am doesn't understand why people carry handguns. It doesn't mean American handguns owners are wrong, it only means: a different way of life makes you think differently.
To night, for the new year, i will eat snails and frog thighs. Hard to understand isn't?

Happy new year to you all.

dantzk.

My EDC as of late... A Spyderco Native, SOG Twitch II, SAK Soldier, Buck Prince, Kershaw Leek, Leatherman Squirt, Fenix light (1 x AAA), Tungsten E2 pda, my little Creative mp3 player w/built in speakers and a pack of gum.. Not all blades at once, just the weekly mix/rotation, usually at LEAST 2 on me at all times though. It's sooooo comforting and HELPFUL when your EDC/tools are there when you need them, which is pretty much daily!
