The patella-femoral syndromes acting up, after a long flight (something under my kneecap is inflamed and it feels really weird to walk). As a result, the knife I am carrying is...Nothing! I'm not leaving the house, I probably won't be in a room without a knife or easy access to one.

All I am carrying is my new Tissot Quadrato Chrono (bracelet, black face, Swiss souvenier) and my medical bracelet, identifying me as having a mechanical valve and taking Coumadin.

I've used my Wenger Ranger 55 though, today. Another Swiss souvenier.

I have the Tissot Nicky Hayden Chrono and I love it. Kinda Bright with the Blaze Orange Band but still a Sweet Time Piece!!!!

Today I've been fighting a stinkin' summer cold so I didn't do much but lay on the couch... My EDC consisted of;

Right front pocket = a broken tooth pick (pine), some lint (100% cotton I think), and a lint (see previous item) covered "Fisherman's Friend" throat lozenge. Kershaw Leek.

Left front pocket = a number of fine paper tissues (some inlayed with green Malachite... at least I think thats green Malachite).

Shirt pocket = Bayer aspirin (in a shiny, polycarbonate bottle), and a small package of Fisherman's Friend throat lozenges (sans lint).

Sorry I don't have any pictures for you...

Do you pay extra for the linty lozenges?;)

Mine's the same as most days:
comb, wallet, a Wenger Patriot that I got yesterday (only new thing), Byrd Robin, eye drops, SAK Ranger, Bic. Oh, and some lint. (See above post)

ZT 300 or Benchmade Nitrous and a Wharcom.

I also carry a Micro Widgy pry bar, so I'm not even tempted to abuse one of the above.

Sunnyd, that is a great looking knife. How does it feel in your hand?

Lanza,

Fits beautifully, and I know most folks say that they're knives fits nicely when you ask them, but this one really does handle well. She's got Apple Coral scales and they are not light weight covers so you really know you've got a tool in your hand but she has got great balance to boot.

That's pretty interesting. So far, I've found that I can unlock padlocks relatively easy, but have not yet been able to consistently unlock a regular door (think I screwed up the lock on my front door).
Most locks can be compromised with a "bump key," which makes getting Medeco locks well worth the price.

Do a search on YouTube for "bump keys." They can be ordered on the Internet for almost nothing. I may get some just in case I, or someone else, gets locked out of their house. Get caught with them in some jurisdictions and it could be trouble.

Some criminals pick locks on cars, then hide in the back seats. This is one reason that people (especially women) should use their lights to inspect the back seat areas before they get into a car. It's also a good idea to look around so that someone doesn't force you into the car at gunpoint at the instant the door is open. There have been many criminals who have kept their victims long enough to make two withdrawals from an ATM, then they take the money, snuff the victims and take off.

A good flashlight with about 85+ lumens can temporarily stun a bad guy in the dark, and a tactical knife even improves the odds.

my usual EDC consists of a gerber compact sport and/or a leatherman skeletool as well as my tanto point benchmade Pika or my cold steel triple action
