Went light & classy today. Case Red Bone CV Wharncliffe Copperhead, plus the other gear (wallet, phone, watch, bandana, medical bracelet)
 
traveling light today.

police 3, lots of knife in a light, slim package. still getting used to the lockback.

I did all the work on it. I was living with bikers and my creative juices were flowing 25/8. I did all the work with a Dremel, mostly freehand. I had to drill and tap new clip holes to make it wave open on the forward draw. I cut all the blade out above the handle, cut in a wave and made it double edged. Then hit the slabs with a propane torch. The goal was to make the most duuuuuurty fighting folder. As you can see I haven't baby'd it. It has been a primary EDC for 2 years.

What do you think of that Beretta Avenger? I've always been tempted to pick one of those up.
 
i am at a crossroads because my normal edc knife broke but i am currently carying my elk ridge fixed blade that i got at big 5 for ten bucks. but other then thet my keychain has a whistle, a flash drive, a paracord lanyard a dogtag for shining light in peoples eyes, and my house key(i dont have a car).i also usually have some gum or something like that.plus i usually have random stuff.

I like it. Usually goes in the rear left pocket in my jeans. If I draw it just right, I can get the thumbstuds to snag and catch my pocket and do an Emerson wave. I like the extreme tanto and find that the chisel grind makes for a precise cutting instrument. The lock engages with a very secure click (my old lady says it feels very safe). Tips the scale around 3 OZ. On ebay, you can get for 80-90.
