That's a new Gerber tool (Forget the name), but it's pretty neat. Bottle opener, screw driver including phillips head, exacto knife, etc. They're not expensive either.

I think it's a Gerber Artifact.

My knife EDC today is a modified Queen Copperhead slipjoint.


That is a beautiful Ohta folder!

These are the knives of my EDC rotation. Different days/situations require different knives, if I am off to do something tactial then it'll be the MOD CQD and the RAT3 that come along, if I need to be around NKP then it's the Leek or Leatherman.

The Hissatsu and the Benchmade are the ones that are always with me though, the BM is carried IWB at about 1500 and the Hissatsu goes normally in my front right pocket. I really love the latter, I had been wanting one for a while and finally got hold of one and it's totally blown me away, I would say out of all my folders it is my favourite and I find that fact that it is an AO makes it even more appealing.

I'm at work so my Spiderco Endura is in my pocket. When I leave my M2 Ritter Mini Grip will be with me. Plus I always have my Attwood Prybaby on my keys.

I'm more curious about the flashlight that everyone seems to have. I guess I've never been in a situation where I needed a flashlight in a long time. I have one in my emergency box, but I never needed to carry one everyday.

I used to think the same thing, thought people here looked kind of dorky with their flashlights, multiple knives etc. Started carrying a Fenix P2D and I see the value in an EDC light now. Some days I'll even use it more than my knife. It's been useful in many situations like looking for something behind furniture, looking for something dropped in a dark parking lot, checking how my food looks in the oven (It's an old POS with no internal light), inspecting my knife edges for burs when sharpening etc.

If anything I'd say it's worth it to invest in a good keychain sized light and add that to one's EDC.

but not on their website. they haven't released the nirvamus cub 2 (which in the 09 catalogue) yet, far as I can tell. I was refering to the origional.

either way, if I was a couple of hundred quid richer than I am, I wouldn't mind one of the full size ones, with the rigid polymer sheath. unfortuenately, I'm not
