EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)??

Yesterday, after a breakfast meeting, I went grocery shopping, worked in the garage, received my new reel mower via FEDEX - assembled it and mowed the yard, and removed my clothes for a shower when I realized I still had my KSF pocket sheath in one front pocket of my cargo-pants-like shorts. I had carried it to breakfast to show a friend who was headed to Hotlanta for the Blade Show - and promptly forgot it.

The Buck Custom Shop 110 (NS bolsters, BG-42 blade, jigged/fg-ed water buffalo scales) is for scale. It's a pocketful. That's a Bark River 'Journeyman' in black Micarta - and a Surefire E2DL Defender with it's crenallated switch/tailcap swapped for my E1b Backup's tailcap - it makes sheath entry/retrieval easier. Not my typical EDC.

Stainz

1. Emerson EDC Tanto
2. Krein Mini Skinner
3. 1920's Golden Rule celluloid slipjoint
4. Modded E2DL - 330 lumens, 4 levels, pineapple body
5. Montblanc Starwalker Rb
6. Poljot Pilots watch

Spyderco atlantic salt, yellow and serrated- Bradlye chymura, ruggedized motorola, bic/cigs, stainless steel sharpie, cash

Benchmade HK Snody 14250. Since I can't afford a Mike Snody. I had to settle for Snody design by BM. I sure hope he brings out a line that the average/overtime working guy can afford.

Today's pocketful:
Mini Rittergrip
Case mini-copperlock
Inova flashlight
keys
wallet
Rotring Newton pen
Sandisk flashdrive
iPod touch

Today it's:
Spyderco Tenacious
Leatherman Juice
wallet
iPhone
Seiko Watch
...and I always keep a guitar pick handy

rabbit13, what kind of lighter is that in your post. Looks nice.
Thanks! It's a Dunhill Sylph. Was made in the 30s, and it still lights perfectly every time..

Where'd you get the crkt in the bottom of the picture? i really dig that blade
It's a Stubby Razel Folder, got it from AG Russell for 31 bucks. Am more impressed with it than any CRKT I've owned so far, it really is an outstanding knife for the money.

Been setting up tents and tables for the "Walk for the Cure" all morning. This is what I had...

Pocket dump from earlier this week. Summer's approaching and lugging a full size tool on my belt was getting annoying, so I downsized to the Juice for a bit less weight.

Here's what I got for today:

b193866689.jpg

-Pocket comb
-Cheap memo pad
-Lami Safari, medium nib in yellow
-Pink Razr
-Peanut lighter filled with a couple ibuprofens and some benadryl
-Keychain with Gerber Artifact
-Shuriken pouch used as a wallet. It allows me to carry my P-51 and 4-way screwdriver while reducing size and weight
-Sodbuster Jrs, both CV and SS. I like the combination of yellow and black
-Handkerchief

Sorry about the blue. Apartment lighting isn't exactly all that great.

Saturday's carry saw my left front pocket with a William Russell Case series 2 bladed Copperhead in brown bone, while an orange Kershaw G10 Tyrade is in my right front pocket. I transferred The foldover clip from my black G10 Tyrade over to the orange, and I love the contrast of the black screws, black backspacer, and black pocket clip ( covered in black 3M Stair Step tape ), against the orange G10.

Thanks bunches Bob Q - the Sparklite unit looks just the thing.

How does the thing work?
Is it just the old "flint" and friction wheel as on older lighters?
How "flamable" does the tinder material have to be for it to catch light from the "sparks"?

Thanks.

I don't want to read all the pages to see if this has been covered, but head over to W&SS and someone could point you in the right direction for a firestarter I'm sure. I carry a Zippo, but it evaporates too quickly so I keep a Bic close at hand. I do alot outdoors so I keep multiple options available and at close hand, including a ferro rod I picked up from a forumite in a giveaway..
