EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)??

Like PWork said, just think about everything you do or something you could have used to make a task easier/more convenient(sp? I've been up all night :rolleyes:) and search or ask here about opinions on things you're looking into. Just be prepared to lose some weight in your wallet ;)

I tried the search as you advised, this is what i get:

I did a more broad search but i was unable to find a really concrete thread on the "must have" blades. I am not really looking for anyone to pick out a knife -for- me. As some said, use a process of determining what works best. Thus far the Delica fits my needs. The only concern is just the FRN handles. I am fully aware of how durable they are, but I am looking into getting a Paramilitary for the G10 handles, without getting too big of a knife for me to handle. I just read up a lot on Spyderco, they seem to have me hooked.

I would like to know if there is a good thread devoted to an all-round EDC flashlight. I was hoping I could go through this EDC thread, but it took me about a whole week to go through, slowly. Hard to determine what gear has been popping up more than others. I know very little about flashlights with the different types. I know I would want a 'white' light, opposed to red or green. I would also use it for an urban/suburban environment mostly. My family does have land in the U.P. of Michigan, which I would also hope to use the same light. I suppose this might be rather difficult to get everything in one small package. Any input would be -very- helpful.

Here's some stuff I've been carrying lately, though it looks pretty pathetic next to SethMurdoc. LOL :)

Slvgx - Welcome to Bladeforums! Most flashlight discussions are in Gadgets & Gear. Offhand, I don't remember a thread devoted to a best all around EDC light, but you could start one on that topic!

like i said, for a long time all i carried is a leatherman, wich was more then sufficient for what i needed...

i may be taking a job that requires me to minimize my gear, at wich point i'll go down to my 2 busse's, leatherman, zippo, watch and surefire.

all those cheap disposables are actually for when people ask me for a light and dont give them back :)

I didn't just plunge all of it into my pockets one day it was a gradual growth :)

Maxpedition small cell holder wih my phone, keychain with small survival capsule, and a few aspirin, Inova knockoff keychain led. Carry a Maxpeditin Falcon, holds my mission wallet, an Al Mar Falcon, some cash, my Airborne School coin, my gps, cigars, sunglasses, gum matches, crockstick sharpener, Benchmade Torx head tool kit, Leatherman Crunch in a TAD gear pouch, small survival/first aid kit, , surefire E1E, and some 550 cord.

I like it a lot! I've been carrying it quite a bit the last few months. It's very well made and has a really solid feel to it. It took awhile for me to get used to the shape of the handle, but now I'm comfortable with it. Plus, the steel scales are thin and smooth, which makes it easy to carry. The blade geometry of the Scorpius is great, too.
 
I had to slim down my EDC, thanks to exceedingly great purchases.

Knives/Tools:

-Atwood Snakeskin Srtiderbaby :cool:

There's really not much I can't accomplish with this setup :D

Lighting:

-Surefire L2
-Arc AAA-p

-Ipod
-Broke the screen on my Palm Tungsten E, so I look forward to it's replacement ;)
 
Nice to see I'm not the only one who likes those little composition notebooks...

I tried to talk myself into getting a Moleskin once, but I couldn't justify the price, plus the little comp. books fit a shirt pocket better...
 
Yeah I noticed that too ... how do you like them? You keep other goodies in the ashtray?
