Steel Case Navigator... rock on. Got one an love it, although my Marathon SAR and Casio Triplr Sensor get more wrist time.

For around the house or errands, depending on my mood or what I think I'll be doing, it's either an old-style Leatherman Wave, SAK Huntsman, or a K.O. Vapor (plain edge).

I work at a school, so I can't exactly go around bristling with knives. I have a little Gerber multi-tool with a yellow LED that lives in my briefcase. I can't remember what it's called. I hate it, so it's not an edc. I also have a Swiss Tool Utili-key on my key ring along with a small generic light.

For travel, the SAK or Leatherman go in my checked baggage for EDC when I arrive. The Swiss Tool gets checked too. I bet it wouldn't be noticed, but I don't want to tempt fate.

For hiking, camping, and motorcycle travel, the Leatherman gets paired up with either the Vapor or Grohmann #1.

I'm too lazy to take my own pictures, so I'll just find them online :D

Watch: 3 years ago this February I got a Casio G-Shock chrono with a thermometer feature, and having tarantulas that need a specific environment it's quite handy. It's the only watch I've ever had that lasted me 3 years, and it's still-barr a few nicks- as good as new. Gotta love Casios

Keys: Not usually, if I do I have my housekey and a photon II.

Drum Roll!

Knife: It's between a Victorinox Climber, a Benchmade 550PEOD, and an old style Leatherman Wave.

It's Time I paid tribute to my EDC watch :D

I too really like digital watches - I know people who detest them and mock them - but for me they give the functionality I want without over complex dial/faces.

I don't deliberately choose cheap watches - but am always on the look-out for great value for money.

Timex.jpg

The (obviously) older watch on the right* :o was bought back in October/1997 - so that's 7+ years and it's swam with me at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia - been touring in China twice - out in the serious downpour in Scotland in January when even "serious" hi-tech rain-gear got soaked through.

...and you can see it still keeps on "ticking" :p - albeit the digits will dim/disappear if I now press any button (just needs a new battery) - but that's 7+ years! - and I only replaced it with another Timex last November because the bracelet broke........ and I wanted a new watch......

Timex at one time were a joke to me -
even with the advent of the LCD digital watch - Casio far out stripped almost any other maker in terms of bang for the buck, and I was a confirmed Casio watch wearer -
until one day I started to see Timex digitals with what they called "All Day Indiglo" - that iridescent green reflective background - even then they still were pretty cheesey and cheap looking.

The Ironman/Trialthlon series started to get my attention for usable functions - although most of the time they were still a bit "gimmicky" - then they started to get better looking - or shall we say less cheesey......

To the point where I was tempted enough to buy one - hey, they were just around $30 for even an up-market one.............

So that model # 62947 Ironman Triathlon has served me well for over 7 years on the same stock battery.... and retired because its bracelet broke - I replaced it with a very similar looking model (# 53952) and I am very pleased with that too, it's easily available at places like Wal-Mart for just under $33.

How'd you get the hollow pin like that for the lanyard?

The Soldier used to be made with the hollow pin. I believe it is no longer a requirement of the Swiss military.

On the subject of watches, I have a cheap, digital Timex Expedition which I use most days and for traveling because of it's convenience, multiple functions, and expendability. I also Have a Citizen Eco-Drive diver's watch that I got as a gift from my father several years ago. This one is neat because it's solar powered, but it is light in the functions and was expensive, so I use it only about a third of the time.

Other than the knives I mentioned above, I also carry a tiny notebook with a pencil stub inside (either a moleskine or a 3"X4" composition book), and a decent pen - lately a Waterman fountain pen.

spyderco kiwi and surefire e2e on keychain. Spyderco Dodo, Streamlight tl-3, and leatherman charge in pockets. Usually some pens, and other stuff in pockets too.

I carry my new Ritter mini RSK in right front pocket or inside the waistband right front , it replaces the BM AFCK, and when required the SIG P239 in 357 SIG!
