Hello Paul,

Could you please tell me where you got your Victorinox Scientist? I would like to get one also but have not been able to find one.

Thanks :)

I see... too bad, I thought you found a secret source :P I would have really liked to pick up a Scientist.

Thanks Paul

The best advice I can give you is to watch eBay and flea markets. You may also find a small shop that still has some in stock. Good luck in your search. Don't give up, you never know when one might show up.

Changed again.

LM Squirt, Spyderco Ladybug II, SOG Twitch II pockets.
LM Juice, Spyderco Native III belt sheaths.
CRKT Crawford Polkaski Companion, CRKT Crawford Falcon fixed, CRKT F4, Tomahawk machete in the truck.

Blink moved to BOB with KABAR tanto.

Well it's been a while since my last EDC update and the EDC has certainly evolved a little since then so I suppose its time for an updated post. I'm sure you'll all recognize everything in the pic so there's no need for me to list it out. :)

Have added a new edc and removed a couple edc's. The newest addition is a knife I've been looking for ever since I sold the one I had close to 3 years ago. Finally had the funds when one showed up!! It is a Kit Carson E&E folder. This rotates with my ever present Hinderer Firetac Extreme spearpoint!!! :D  :)

Even as we speak I'm changing/adding stuff to my EDC(I always seem to in the late spring early summer).

I plan on removing the Recruit from EDC and replacing it with a one-handed Parachutist(if I can find one) or a one handed Trekker. I'll also probably be adding a Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Combat folder to the mix. As well as a Michael Burch custom fixed blade sometime in the not too distant future. I don't actually carry the Ruger everyday, since I can't get a permit yet, but I'm planning on a new 1911 very soon. I want to add a good small light, the guys over at Candlepowerforums.com have provided me with hours of research that has led me to the Nuwai Q3 as the light in my near future. Also, I'm looking at a new fountain pen, probably a custom made wood one.

Finally, I'm hoping to pick up a Spec-Ops Brand mini-cargo-pocket organizer. I'm planning on setting it up with the Pocket Suvival Pak, a neck knife(CRKT STIFF Kiss or Becker Necker), and putting my Moleskin, and pens in it, so I can organize my gear on my left side and keep the blades and guns on the right to balance.

Edited: Because I got the name wrong.

What's the Pocket Pal survival kit? Haven't heard of it.

I currently carry:
Leather wallet with all papers, money,... - 1
Nokia 3510i - 1
Keyring - 2, with keys - 4
Creative Zen Touch, 20 gigs
Victorinox Camper (seven years old) - 1

One Spyderco Delica II plain edge on it's way, to be added to the above.

On the rare occasion that I'm getting out at night I put on my armless vests -with more pockets than one can fill without going through his knees because of the weight- and add my Maglite 2AA.

I'm planning on buying a Spyderco Jester SE and a LM Wave 2004 end this summer. (That is, if my parents don't complain. They don't like me spending money. But I got bitten by the knife bug.)

Don't hear that one very often. Usually, it's the wife who is complaining. I tend to think of everyone here as being my age (40+) and married. Without meaning offense, I'm guessing you're under 21 years of age and living at home with your parents?

19 this month, and yes, still living at home (still studying, you know).
They're not really fond of collecting things.
But most of the time I can do what I want, I'm pretty independant ;) .

I can somewhat relate(I'm 19, will be 20 in a few months). I'm still at home for another year, but I've ever so slowly convinced the main opposition to my collections of knives, guns, and automobiles(mom) that I work hard for my money(40-50-60 hours a week)...I'll spend it any way I please.

When I told her the price on the new Burch custom her response was, "Oh that sounds like a pretty good price." It's also gotten to where I'll walk past her and she'll go, "You got a knife to open this package/letter/insert some object here..."
