I carry a key chain setup that can be broken down to allow my sak classic, and a mini mag lite. The key chain is a 60's Firestone Tires promo. In my right pocket, I use a sak satin finished money clip/ multi knife. My main pocket clip knife changes every few months, from my newest Kershaw Leek to a Spyderco, Howard Viele full serrated, to various Benchmades or CRKT's. In my appt. book, I carry a double edged Tekna credit card slide knife. I bought a few, due to the firm closing. Some day,I'll stop being intimidated by digital cameras, and grow up.

a few months ago I found a good deal on a Kershaw Hawk (G-10 version) and bought it. It sat around for a while and then it disappeared. Last night while cleaning my kitchen, I found the knife on top of the fridge... how it got there, I'll never know.

So I threw it in my pocket today and I really like this knife. It's smaller than I usually EDC, but has a good handle and a very good blade design for general utility... and the ATS-55 is wicked sharp.

It certainly isn't a hard use folder, but it's a good little knife.

Today, CRKT Carson M18-02, wallet, chapstick, keys with Photon II.

That's all,
Allen.

Today, I am home sick in my jammies, so I have my Buck/Mayo TNT(right pocket), pockets full of tissue, a Fallkniven U2 (left pocket.)

I am Lefty that is why I have the BM31 in my left side.

Do you like your bm31? I have been wondering about getting a butterfly, but I don't know wether they would be sturdy or not.

Hey Spoonrobot,

Your knife is a Wenger, not Victorinox (it's still a real Swiss Army Knife, there are two genuine makers). If you tell me what tools it has I could probably find you the model, although I can't claim to be very well-versed in the Wenger lineup. I like the September 04 edc, nice SAK and Spydie

Today, I am carrying my new EDC, large Sebenza and my Fallkniven U2. The Sebbie is in my right pocket, and the U2 is in my left.

few changes -

Out of my house EDC Oct/2005 -
EDC_out5.jpg

The significant change is the whistle attached to my keys -
Acme Slimline Tornado (model #636) - I particularly like this because it is loud - about in the same ballpark as the Fox40, and Acme Tornado 2000 (claimed to be the loudest in the world) - the 636's triple tone seems to cause audible trilling which to me probably would attract more attention than just being loud

I recently got the Fenix L1 v2.5 (Non-Premium) a 1 watt Luxeon light that uses a single AA battery - it is very bright for its size and has become the recent talking point on CPF (CandlePowerForums).

It's also getting a bit chilly in the evenings and I'm now wearing a warmer top with pockets so the fun and versatile eternaLight Ergo 3 Red/White

Air Travel EDC Oct/2005 -
basically the same as the Out of my house EDC
except I change out the custom SAK to a regular red Victorinox Yeoman -
Yeoman.jpg

The Yeoman essentially is the Scientist with scissors. I used to change out the my custom Scientist because I didn't want any (even slight) possiblity of losing it - with the tighter air-travel security. However since I've been doing this the Yeoman has also been discontinued and become something of a collectible too.... but I make sure it's packed it in my check-in baggage and EDC it once I arrive at my destination.

Right now, I swap out my paramilitary, d2 minigrip and m16/11k on a regular basis, though the paramilitary (new to me) is finding huge favor right now, so I carry it most. I also sometimes carry my Cybertool in combination with one of those. Wish I had the guts to spend 110 dollars to get a used Spyderench off of Ebay, but it's just not worth it.

...Acme Slimline Tornado (model #636)...
I have my white Acme 636 with me today (dressing lighter than usual), I remove the ring and thread a piece of yarn directly through the whistle, tie it up and wear it around my neck under my shirt, so flat and light you can't tell it's there.

I did some ad-hoc casual trial of my whistles in this useful thread Luis started -

I was very surprised to find the Acme Slimline Tornado 636 sounded as loud as it did - it really was comparable to the Tornado 2000 - which is claimed/advertized to be the "most powerful" at 122db.

I liked the tone and trill much better on the Slim 636 - and from my ad-hoc casual tests it seemed easier to blow than the T2000 or the Fox40.

In terms of sheer performance the Storm was impressive - but the size is HUGE - and it wasn't that much more superior in my limited trials than the Slim 636 - that's how impressed I was with this little whistle.

A whistle, as I mentioned before, and common knowledge among people interested in survival equipment, is actually a useful if not essential piece of survival gear.
To think one can get a whistle as good as this Acme Slimline Tornado #636 for as low as $1.40 (or $1.25 in qty of 12+) is simply amazing.
