EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)??

This is mine, an unidentified Wenger left-handed SAK. I think I posted elsewhere that this was a Climber, but now don't think it is. I've had it for years and have long since lost the box. The site I took the image from helpfully just lists it as "left-hander".

The alternative is a Leatherman Wave. The other things I always carry are my keys (with LED Photon-type light), mobile phone and wallet. Even when the latter is empty. ;)

Thanks UnknownVT, I should have known one of you guys would be able to identify it! According to smartknives.com the Wenger Climber is the same as the Traveller but without the chain on the key ring, which is probably how I confused it.

Either way I'm very attached to it, I've never seen a left-handed one for sale in the UK.

Chris

(In case any of you righties are wondering, it is easier to use!) ;)

What the hell, I've got nothing to do, so here's whats in my pocket.

Glock 36
BM Gravitator
Keys
Surefire E2d
Dooney & Bourke magnetic money clip *my favorite wallet ever! :)

Will this thread never end? Let's see it started on 03-16-2003, 04:34 PM that's what 2yrs 9months? It has 208,822 views and 1725 replies (guess this will make 1726 replies. This has to be some kind of forum record (for ANY forum ANY where).

1727 replies really isn't that much.

1727 replies is plenty but I believe not record breaking, now if you consider the quality of the posts, yes it's a very fine thread.

I've changed EDC today, yesterday I found that big thing with a crank on the bottom right of the picture at 20% discount (I paid about $24 US, it should cost less in the USA), it's a crank charged LED flashlight (KNOVA brand, crank shown in half open position), it has three LEDs and you can choose to use only one or all three, the instructions say that you can turn the crank 120 times in about 1 minute for 1 hr use on 1 LED or 1/2 hr use on three LEDS, I turned it 200 times and it was not that hard, it's supposed to support 500 charges so if I charge it once a week it should last about 10 years. It is a bit large for EDC but I want to try it out, I found an old cell phone belt pouch that fits OK.

Other carry stuff for today:

Hohner Big River Harp harmonica in B flat.

My good old trusty Acme 560 whistle.

Clone of Fisher space pen with Parker type refill.

Leatherman SideClip.

Schrade 98OT stockman.

Victorinox Farmer.

Mido Ocean Star Captain automatic watch (present for my 27th wedding anniversary earlier this month).

Luis,
That light seems like an interesting gadget, just out of curiosity how much does it weigh? Personally though I prefer the Hohner proharp in the key of A or C for EDC. Cheers.

My kitchen scale indicates 160 grams.

Yes the Pro Harp is nice and so is the Special 20, have you tried Hering?, I really like the top of the line Herings. Dang, I can't find my Lee Oscar.

black Moto Razr w/plantronics explorer 320 headset
Benchmade mini griptilian(lost, found this site browsing for replacements)

and on that note..hey guys. hope to learn a lot from you.

as you see my reason for coming here was to hope to find a nice replacement for my lost benchmade hoping you guys will steer me in the right direction. I might just get another one, really liked that little guy.

Welcome to the forums ZJ!:D

My EDC is a Leatherman Xcharge with the rescue hook. I thought it would be 'just handy sometimes' but end up using it almost daily. Love it.
Living in the Netherlands i cannot carry my custom-one-of-a-kind Extrema Ratio Harpoon F to work =) Or even in our *great outdoors*

Sometimes I carry other stuff, but that's usually it.
