What did you use to buff out the scratches on the ti? Fine sandpaper and/or MetalGlow?
There were a lot of scratches, but none were deep. Really just surface micro-scratches.
I did start with 2000 grit wet/dry, and the majority of scratches were gone after a few swipes. I then loaded up my leather strop that's mounted on a piece of good, flat wood with Dico white rouge, laid the frame piece down on the strop and just started moving it back and forth, turning it 45° or so every so often to avoid a "grain" pattern. When all the scratches were completely gone (which didn't take long at all), I hit the surface by hand with a semi-chrome type of polish. Not sure of the brand name, but it's blue if that helps, and is a kind of watery paste. I picked it up at an auto parts store where I bought the high-grit paper. It's made for restoring old, funky chrome, but it works great for finishing polishing projects too. That's it!

ETA: The hardest part was the clip. I'm not positive, but I don't think it's made of Ti. It was a funky-looking gun-metal gray. I used a progression of 600/1000/1500/2000 grit paper on it, and finished it with the Dico white rouge applied to a 4" buffing disc attached to a drill motor. At least 3 times as long was spent on the clip as on both sides of the handle/frame pieces.
