Have been EDCn this alias II for 3 weeks now and I love it, the multitool model is juice CS4
and the watch is a Suunto Core and I have been carrying that for the last 2 years, great watch

Kershaw Volt 2. I think it's the first time I've carried and AO knife to work, so maybe I'll scare somebody with it later.

I just dug out my girlfriends Winchester. I bought it at a bait shop, now its one of her backpacking knives.

Going into the country,

ah. some fine wilderness pics? or maybe your emerson? look forward to it. maybe i should get around to posting some pics meself.

decided to change it up a bit today, replaced the vore with a boker plus pocket bowie (for now). i liked the knife before but thought it needed some extra grip, so i took the dremel to the g10 and made some killer scallops, its super grippy and looks pretty good for my first try.

also carrying the foliage green uk penknife and case delrin peanut.

How do you like that Buck/Strider?

It's actually my 3rd or 4th one. Only reason I have this one is I found it at a sporting goods shop over the weekend and the price was too good to pass on. In hand it feels the same as a SnG. I used a Tarani as my travel knife for checked in baggage when I did not want to risk losing a Strider to TSA.

Overall they are very sturdy. The liners are a bit thin but adequate and this one engages about mid point. Many go all the way to the opposite side of the blade. Takes a good edge and is very easy to clean because of the open construction.

Since they are sometimes hard to come by at a reasonable price, I had to grab it. The knife was a display model so there was no box to be had and they knocked off another 10%. I'll probably play around with it and flip it when the novelty wears off.

Holy crap I don't blame you for picking it up for that price. I'd take it off your hands for that price ;)

Was this a big name sporting goods place? Makes me want to go look for one.

Yeah, I'm sure you would!....Not a big name place. It was Tri-State Outfitter's in Moses Lake, WA and no, they don't have anymore...
