Today, I've got a sort-of matching pair... Al Mar Eagles. One's an original 1980s model, with brass liners and brown/black paper micarta. The other is one of the 2007 Ultralights in brown canvas micarta, one of a run of 200.

I rushed home from work because I knew I had something good waiting for me.

First, My Emerson finally came back from repair (slipping lock). Fixed it, and it's just like I had it before:

Emerson Mini CQC-7

And then I noticed this also came in the mail:

My new Spyderco ParaMilitary 2 in CTS-20CP.

This is the sharpest brand new out of the box knife I have ever owned. I cannot wait to cut crap up with this!


If this isn't knife porn I don't know what is.

I just dug out my girlfriends Winchester. I bought it at a bait shop, now its one of her backpacking knives.

If worse comes to worse, use binomial theorem.

I'm actually surprised that the USMC's sources such expensive knives. As far as I knew, they were still using Gerbers and KaBar/Beckers.

still carrying the dp fg ukpk and delrin peanut but im also carrying the ka-bar dozier folder that i got in the mail this evening,

its the first one i have owned, im really liking it so far. but its pink so i have been getting all sorts of nasty comments from my family. my brother and sister established that it is now called the "gay-bar" so that is what its called from now on, the "gay-bar".
