You'll be surprised how useful that is.

I went to Toronto this weekend, and here's a few things I picked up:

Spyderco Manix 2 CTS-BD30P, Emerson Mini CQC-15, Benchmade 211 Snody Activator.

A word of caution tho: never put a Emerson in your back pocket. You will inevitably put something in your pocket (like your wallet), and have the wave open on you, and you'll hurt yourself. For proof, click here (not for the squeamish).

Sorry to hear of your Emerson bite. Should make a nice scar. Grats on the new acquisitions.

Got to carry my new Spyderco Manix 2 in CTS-BD30P, love it so far. Amazed at how easy it is to wave it using a zip tie. Still need to sand down the scales a bit, there a bit rough on the pocket right now

Nice blade! Who makes it?

Also, is that a Baby Eagle?

It's a custom I designed (drew up on paper and then on Autocad) and commissioned Pohan Leu to make. I did a brief write up and included more pictures here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/874178-Pohan-Leu-custom-quot-hark-quot-anto

Yes, it's a Baby Eagle. This one is stamped with the original name though, Jericho 941. It's a full size, all steel 9mm. I've put around 5700 rounds through it since I bought it brand new about 14 - 16 months ago. The grips are after market, piranha pattern g10 from Hogue.

I posted this in community forums but i thought it belonged here as well since it was this thread that my friend found me

I received a sort of random visitor message (i at first thought it was a spammer)
It turns out a member here on Bladeforms who has been checking out the EDC!-Which knife or knives are you carrying today??? forums for years saw a pic of me in my NYPD uniform in reply to Edwood and put 2+2 together and realized we have met in real life.. He was visiting from France and went to see the empire state building and took the subways . I was working a detail and we ran into each other..We spoke for a few min and he asked to take a pic of me since he hasnt seen a cop with full tattoos.. This was back in 2006 mind you..5 years later he finds me here and sends me the pic!!! I am now retired but if was great seeing myself in uniform again (although i was 50lb heavier back then.. bagel and doughnut diet)

just wanted to publicly say THANK YOU to theHound i dont have many pics of me in uniform and none with my tattoos hanging out :)

You don't look any older than 40 yrs old, were you on like a 20 yr retirement plan? Over here in California officers need to have their tattoos covered, must be nice to be able to be in short sleeves with full sleeve tats.
