I've got a Sodbuster Jr just like that in the mail, Tom. In the meantime, I'm carrying my Turtle today. Those two will likely travel together some days going forward.

That'll be a cool pairing Steve. The sodbuster should be very sharp out of the box.

These two for me today:

Small multitool (Leatherman Squirt) in a pants pocket, larger multitool in sheath on belt (Leatherman PST in this picture, recently replaced with a Leatherman Rebar) and Laguiole 'Extra' by G. David, non-locking folder, horn handle, carbon steel blade, with punch and corkscrew. The Laguiole has been in daily use since 1989 and it shows, my DNA is deep in the handle I guess. The spring action is still excellent and there is no play or wobble in the blade. The Laguiole sits in a sheath on my belt on the opposite hip from the Leatherman.

Lately, it has been a Fiddleback Forge Sneaky Pete when home (about 90% of the time) and my typical CRK small sebenza when off the property.

I'm absolutely loving the Fiddleback.

Pocket Manix! I still believe a black clip would really set this knife off. Satin hardware, but a black clip.

For a few bucks, Spyderco will send you a black one. Just give them a call. It's the first thing I do whenever I get a Spydie that doesn't come with a black clip.

Yeah I remember that man, haha. Maybe it's laziness or just me being stingy, I just never got around to it. Eventually I will I'm sure.

It works. I'd be nervous if I was your old machine, wondering if I was gonna get stabbed or shot.

I've never shot or stabbed one, but there have been several times I've seriously thought about throwing a damn confuser across the room, or beating it to death with a hammer.
