Peter Martin QSB with zirconium bolsters, scales, backspacer, clip and thumbstud.I've been meaning to ask you for like a week now what knife this is.
Totally agree, the SL just locks into my hand--saber, hammer, pinch grips, and choked up in the generous finger choil. In retrospect it's interesting how overlooked the Superleaf was compared to the blockbuster success of the Para 2. While it's a half ounce or so heavier, the ergonomics worked much better for my grip.
Thanks for the kind words on my SuperLeaf pics. I've never even heard of the Starmate, let alone seen one, so I looked it up on the Spyderco site. It instantly reminded me of the Vallotton with its raised Spydie hole and saber grind. Interesting knife and a size right in my wheelhouse. I'd be pleased to see some shots of yours when you get a chance.I am in a similar position after finally getting my hands on a Spyderco Starmate. It's far more than the sum of its materials, I've found. In any case, beautiful Superleaf shots, thank you for sharing!
What a trio!!! Very nice
Thank you sir! Three of my favorites for sure. What a trio!!! Very nice
That Porter looks amazing, great picture.
I have been enjoying that same porter. Delicious!Thank you! The Porter is surprisingly good. I generally only like "dessert" beers in small quantities due to their usual richness. This one takes the subtle route though, not too sweet, with all the good highlights exhibiting themselves on the finish. Very drinkable.
Sporting some good ol' American Walnut for today.
