Good morning Chazzy! Really appreciate the compliment. It’s my fav smallyWhat he said, brother--that one's a beauty.![]()
No sir. It’s one that Cooper & Clad carries. That's the first time I have seen a 110 with a clip! Is that a custom mod?
I was figuring we'd see that knife re-emerge soon enough after your initial flirtation with a new acquisition. I just paid off the layaway on the MILK Prototype from AZCK and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. We'll see which knife wins the delivery race now--the MILK from Florida likely shipping today or my new Biryukov which shipped from Spain last Friday (5:17 AM EST). The Spanish shipper did not indicate tracking nor method while the MILK will come UPS Ground, which has been spot on with our other holiday season deliveries. I know a Finnish dealer that gets knives across the pond and to your door in three days, but given what sketchy communication I've received from my Iberian seller my money's on AZCK. Time will tell, but in the meantime I'm carrying my SuperLeaf today.

First time buying from them and quite pleased with their responsiveness. I paid the few extra bucks for the layaway on my debit card just to keep the knife books more-or-less even instead of sticking it on the credit card. It doesn't really make financial sense but it was sort of a self-disciplinary thing to keep the balance between buying and selling as close to zero-sum as possible. I sold a couple, transferred the money over from PP to my bank, and paid off the MILK.I saw that sweet milk proto on their site. Got me a large 21 CGG on a plan with them as well with one note left lol! Nice to have that option and great score on the milk!
I wanted a SuperLeaf for quite some time before finding one on the Exchange at a reasonable price. I don't think Spyderco made them for very long and there never seem to be many out there on the market. I'm not a big fan of VG10, but it's not a bad EDC steel and does take a nice edge quite easily. As far as the overall knife goes, though, it's broad but thin and easy in pocket, has two great grip positions, features Spydero's compression lock and wire clip, is a great slicer despite having thick blade stock, and middle-finger flicks with the best of 'em. What's not to like? Seki City Spydies are some of their most well-made knives and the SuperLeaf finds its way into my pocket every couple weeks.Haven't seen a Superleaf in ages!
Here's my setup today:

In retrospect it's interesting how overlooked the Superleaf was compared to the blockbuster success of the Para 2. While it's a half ounce or so heavier, the ergonomics worked much better for my grip.I wanted a SuperLeaf for quite some time before finding one on the Exchange at a reasonable price.
