I'm glad you're enjoying the scales, those scales are made from kirinite if I remember correctly.

I do like them and a big improvement over the stock scales for sure . feels light in hand and my 4 year old son loves the glowing backspacer

Gentlemen,
The scales are made from a factory textured black paper micarta material. This particular textured pattern is called Diamond Eyes. The GITD back spacer is made of Kirinite.

It was hard for me to leave my RDD behind today, but I was headed up to the job site in P-Town and, while I plan to carry and use it, it's definitely not gonna be a work knife. My Wilson Combat Les George Eagle fills the bill nicely for that.
