Btw, above poster has taken an amazing shot

You took 3 great pictures too. I did a double take looking at them, the first time it appeared to me that the middle picture showed you cutting your seat covers to reveal the seat foam underneath, then I realized it was the bright sunlight causing the contrast. You almost got me, haha. Sweet knife too, I like the overall appearance it makes.

That’s a lot heavier than it looks, but seeing is believing. Your knocking on the door of the Adamas heavyweight, you got a real winner there my friend.
Thanks Brother I really like this one.The egos are great and feels lighter in hand not light but lighter then it is lol. Carries well to for such a big knife .

Had a long day yesterday building my kids a playset by myself. Within minutes of them seeing it, every second of it was worth it.

Used the Bugout for opening the 2 dozen or so packages and smoothing out rough edges. Used the Leatherman for a couple random things too.
You nailed it brother, every chance and every single second it will be worth it all. Both you and your children will never forget those first moments seeing it and all of the endless play games that will take place and all of the creative imagination it will inspire for many months to come.

Trying to capture the mirror polish on the spine and locklbar. Can't take a good pic of it.

From yesterday, trusty Bugout for a little hike before the rain arrived.

The Bugout is such a home run ! It’s one of my favorite summer knives that carry’s so well In pretty much what ever you wear. I’m still amazed how great it feels in hand to regardless of its size it feels bigger in hand and that’s a good thing with this size knife.

What a nice profile your knife is showing, it just flows together beautifully. May I ask what it is? Thanks for posting it and piquing my interest, I’m sincerely curious about this one.

Of course you may ask. This is a Massdrop Gent. One of Massdrop’s (Drop.com) earlier offerings, before things went the more elaborate route. A simple, slim package that disappears in the pocket and was quite well priced at the time. Also, your’re welcome, always happy to pique the interest of a fellow knife guy.

Yep, my daughter just saw your picture and this is her pair of 511’s she was wearing at the time. A Protech TR-3 ribbed SWAT wore the 511 top rivet smooth leaving the TR-3 unscathed (excellent durability on the TR-3 scales, zero visible wear or scratches), and the UTX-85 did all all the rest of the wear damage, mostly due to the glass breaker and lanyard tab versus the actual clip itself.

A good wore in pair of jeans is hard to beat. I gave up on Levi’s several years ago for work. I give the brand a hard time but I still wear them for my good jeans. But in reality my Carhartts, Dickies, and USA made Roundhouse pants all wear out around the top seam of the pocket, some quicker than others. That was the first time one have ever wore a hole thru like that tho.
