Had a long day yesterday building my kids a playset by myself. Within minutes of them seeing it, every second of it was worth it.


Used the Bugout for opening the 2 dozen or so packages and smoothing out rough edges. Used the Leatherman for a couple random things too.

Found this guy at the back of a knife drawer. Perfect for sweat pants carry. Rediscovery is part of the joy with this hobby IMHO.

Got a full truckload of free oak for the coming winter after my dad cut down 7 trees on his property. More wood than i could haul off!

Looks great and I'm sure they will enjoy it immensely! That's actually the same exact set that we had picked out but unfortunately it's sold out everywhere right now. Nice choice and it will provide many years of backyard fun!

+1 for properly heat treated D2! Protech typically dials in their HT recipes nicely, so I’m looking forward to trying their D2

I have a D2 Les George ProTech, very nice cutter.
