VERY nice Wayne Goddard, that's one on my "target of opportunity" list and has been for ages. Almost all that come available have teeth, I love the plain edge. Tremendous score, there.
Funny, mine was my first give-away on the forum.
Paid $85 for the PE model when they were blowing out unsold stock, so nearly giving them away.
Now I want another.
Vicious cycle.

Thanks brother! My first Goddard, the maroon one, was the combo edge/saber ground version. after I found this OD FFG/plain edge a buddy of mine let me know that they have some more at Bento box as well if your looking, FYI.

I found one, the same one you have, and snapped it up. :D

It'll join my other "classic Spyderco I HAD to own" which is my mint condition Starmate. I'll definitely post up when it comes in. I really love that these are FFG, I imagine it'll be a perfect office EDC.

I ordered one!

Haha enabling strikes again! It does carry quite well and is a great folder imo. Enjoy fellas!

Man, other than the fact that the SERE 2000 weighs roughly three lbs (LOL), it is absolutely everything I hoped it would be. Simply fantastic. The Piranha on the other hand weighs like two ounces so it all balances out!!

How is the DNA? I was eyeing that one as one of my choices for my next Piranha, but ended up going with the oddly boxy 21 instead (comes in on Thursday, I think). For a skinny one I was going to either do the DNA or maybe the skinny version of the X, the Virus, but I was leaning towards the DNA.

Have to say, I really REALLY like the DNA because it looks more classy (to me) than the Virus does. The Virus looks more tactical/workadayish, but this DNA is very nice with its sculpted machining on the sides. It makes the knife quite grippy too. Honestly, as thin and light as it is, it makes a fantastic office knife, or for anywhere that maybe isn't knife-permissive, because it absolutely disappears into a pocket. Touch of the button, and that ultra thin little blade flips out with just enough force. It feels very "tuned" because I've got a few of the Kershaw autos that deploy with that "THWACK" because they're overboosted (to the point where bounceback and failure to lock have been issues on some of them). No blade play on my example, it's just a really nice, slim, light little knife. It's obviously not a work knife, the handle is too thin, you kind of roll it up in your fingers instead of it going in your fist, if that makes sense.

I live in a state where autos and OTFs are legal thankfully, so I'm able to carry whatever I want with no issues. If I wasn't, I think I'd still carry this knife without too much worry because of its slim little size, and quiet deployment. I highly recommend it.

I own, or have owned previously, a lot of very nice knives on washers (including Sebenzas and a Shiro on washers) but I've never owned a knife on washers that had smoother action than this ZT:

Agreed on this. You would immediately think this knife was on bearings if you didn't know any better. Mine drops shut. Insane quality, but then, when these hit the market, you were paying for it also! I got one from Whitty that had the lockbar and clip lightly bronze annoed. I love that knife so much.
