Man, other than the fact that the SERE 2000 weighs roughly three lbs (LOL), it is absolutely everything I hoped it would be. Simply fantastic. The Piranha on the other hand weighs like two ounces so it all balances out!!

Sere 2k is such a solid knife! Great.ergos too!!! Enjoy!!

I own, or have owned previously, a lot of very nice knives on washers (including Sebenzas and a Shiro on washers) but I've never owned a knife on washers that had smoother action than this ZT:

The well worn Zaan I posted right above you comes close, but I have to agree with you about the 0850. Maybe it has something to do with the heavy blade, but mine is amazing too.
