For Hump-day I'm going with a CRKT Homefront Ken Onion Design in AUS 8 with 6061 Aluminum frame. Not as bulky as you might think at 4.8 oz. and around 4 3/4" closed. Easy to disassemble without tools for cleaning.
Posting for today and yesterday. Headed out to the creek yesterday for a little hike carrying the Full-Track. When I got home I was greeted with a new fixed blade arrival, which I'm carrying today along with my GEC 92 that happens to match perfectly.
I've never owned a Buck 110, though I had whatever version Two Guys carried in the mid-late 70s. (I worked my way up through the sizes each year; so I'd guess it was '77 or '78 when I got the biggest one.) I thought it was awesome back then; but I've never felt any pull to try out the real thing as an adult. I finally gave in to the not so subtle suggestions on the forum, and ordered one a few days ago. Initial impression is that it will end up at a new home; but I'm going to carry it for the next week & make myself use it before I decide.
Can't carry just one knife, though, even if it is a Buck 110; so a quick thought about my day made the decision for me... View attachment 1343759
I may well end up losing the 110 before I choose to get rid of it - I'm getting used to having it on my belt, and removing/replacing it is easy enough...but I keep finding that I haven't closed the sheath. IF I decide to keep it, I'll likely have to go with a different sheath - something wet fit, or otherwise formed to hold the knife securely.
