EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Cheers, mate!

I guess I should have stated the reasons for my disappointment. The Watu is less of a scaled-down mini Chokwe as it is a 'sawed-off' (unscaled) variant. Also, the compression lock does not fit with the tang--should have been a ti frame-lock like the Chokwe, IMO.

Notice how the tang interferes with the compression tab.

Just to redress the balance a little... (and certainly not to offend. Different strokes as they say...).

I’ve been carrying my Watu for a short while and I’m smitten. I’d even go so far as to say I think it might be my favourite Spyderco. I’m sure I haven’t collected as many as some but I’ve had a few. It is a Marmite (as we in the UK like to say!) knife. Some will love it, some not so much... I guess this iteration of the compression lock is the same... For me I didn’t mind as it’s my first (now you can start to see which Spydies I haven’t been collecting...). I’ve enjoyed figuring out how long to leave it from disengaging the lock bar to lifting my finger out of the way:) I’ve got pretty good at it.

I love the proportions of this knife, the grind, materials and steel.

Happy customer:)

These 2 showed up in the mail today. Barenkuckle M390. One for me and the other for dad. Kershaw hit a home run with these!

Thank you for that pic sir. If not for you taking the time to post I would have made a purchasing mistake later today!

Cheers!! Say hello to the knife with no name:D
LMAO, brother. I trust our new friend, J jheis , can take a little good-natured ribbing as he's managed to stir the pot a bit himself recently at BF's friendliest thread. :D I'm sure there are those here who would even be happy to help him with posting pics of his properly identified knives, as that process is often a head-scratcher to the uninitiated.

For my part, I'm quite in love with my newly acquired Chris Reeve Knives Large Inkosi Insingo (birthdate October 25, 2017), and am having considerable trouble setting it aside.

Judging from some of the beautiful shots in this thread, I'm going to have to brush up on my photog skills first. And, judging from Aryan's travails in trying to post photo's, I'm probably going to need all the help I can get. ;)

We have the best fried seafood place right here in town and this is their full-size fisherman' platter--whole clams, scallops, shrimp, two nice pieces of haddock, fries, and excellent cole slaw. I'm not much for posting pics of my meals, but I'm back here so soon just to let y'all know I survived eating the whole thing myself. :p
