The color on that pops nicely! I’m a sucker for micarta, which is what’s on mine. We truly are enablers lol. Better it be knives than something else amirite?! o_O:D;)

I’ve been carrying my Watu for a short while and I’m smitten. I’d even go so far as to say I think it might be my favourite Spyderco. I’m sure I haven’t collected as many as some but I’ve had a few. It is a Marmite (as we in the UK like to say!) knife. Some will love it, some not so much... I guess this iteration of the compression lock is the same... For me I didn’t mind as it’s my first (now you can start to see which Spydies I haven’t been collecting...). I’ve enjoyed figuring out how long to leave it from disengaging the lock bar to lifting my finger out of the way:) I’ve got pretty good at it.

I love the proportions of this knife, the grind, materials and steel.

A variety of opinions are more useful to someone making a purchasing decision. No offence taken in the slightest degree.

I agree that the Watu is well-made; glad you are enjoying yours. :cool::thumbsup:
