EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Going with a CRKT Ruger Go-N-Heavy Compact today. 6061-T6 aluminum frame, liner lock, 3.8 oz. and just a little over 4 1/4" closed, Bill Harsey design. Great texture for gripping and feels nice in hand, easier to tote than the full sized version.

Never had a knife that it is truly overbuilt... now i think this folding edged "prybar" fits the bill quite nicely.



Measuring almost 3/4 inch in thickness



with an almost 1/4 inch blade thickness



weighing at a staggering 11.7 oz

I pocketed my Hap40 Endura for Wooden Wednesday and, thinking of its little brother Delica, was reminded of my old Pics of Pairs thread for large and small versions on the same or similar knives. I checked over there and some of our regulars here-- @Dcdavis , @abbazaba , @Sergeua , and others-- had posted pairs and more as recently as a couple months back so I added a couple pair shots of my two. Check it out and add your pairs if you've got some to share.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

...the rhodies just started flowering recently. There aren't a lot of blooms yet, but there's some pretty nice color to what's there so far. I just love the stainless backspacer, liners, and lock on these knives contrasting with the Pakkawood scales....

Like brand new, minty, 1971 Case Stockman I got in the mail today pictured with a Hummingbird guitar I bought in 1971. My son has it since he plays really well and I don’t.
