So glad I was able to still get one with 154cm blade. Polished the washers, smoothest knife I have ever owned.

Can't believe I slept on these Buck 110 Slim Select knives--this is the lightweight, modernized 110 with a pocket clip and an easy to use thumbstud opener that I've always pined for without knowing it. It carries ridiculously thin and light, so I don't mind the "giant handle little blade" aspect of its relatively short sharpened blade length (the tiny by comparison Kershaw Tumbler has a lot more sharpened steel than this 110 Slim does). The Buck 420HC is fine for my purposes and I love carrying this knife, I highly recommend giving it a try if you don't mind operating a lockback.

I'm amazed by how much I prefer using this <$30 knife to some really nice $500+ knives I own.

For Throwback Thursday, I'm totin' a Cattaraugus 42219C. The compass magnetism quit working but this knife is pretty pristine. Nothing like the way they did their worm-grooved bone scales, a very distinct trait of their workmanship.
Very cool! I don't think there are many around with the compass intact.
