EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

That's a sweet Knife CP. Always wanted the Mayo DDjr. There's one on an auction site now for $2265:rolleyes:
Thanks, brother. For that quoted price, I think that  is even more appropriate than  or are you referring to the Mayo, not the Shiro collaboration. Still big bucks for any knife.

I've seen the Shiro for that much at AZCK and other sites, but wouldn't go anywhere close to those bucks for one. The RDD was always a grail for me and I was so fortunate that a Shiro buddy of mine from the Bears' Den knew how I felt and offered me his at a very favorable price when he sold down his collection of collab knives.

I didn't realize the Mayo came in two different sizes until I looked around a bit after reading your post. The cool thing about the Russian version is it's every bit a full-sized Shiro with a 95mm blade in a much slimmer and way lighter package than the F-series knives. It makes for a super EDC that's great in pocket while still offering plenty of cutting length and handle to grip. The combo of CF and internal milling is amazing.

ChazzyP ChazzyP maybe a Shiro/Mayo Dr. Death jr in the future.
My preference is generally for larger knives, but I do have and sometimes carry those in the 3.5" and under range. For Shiro's, there's just one such model--the NeOn Lite, its derivatives like the HatiOn and successors like the NeOn Zero. I have a NeOn UL as my only Shiro in that range. A smaller collab between Sergey and Tom would fit in nicely as a MayOn. :D

My newest knife that arrived today from the exchange. I'm hoping it lives up to all the hype. I'm not the biggest fan of lock backs but I got a good deal and thought that I had to have a Delica in my collection. View attachment 1357777
I love my Delicas and think Spyderco has some good lock backs. You should be very happy with yours and congrats on your first Delica. A great carry and With the perfect size blade that can do most anything you can ask of a EDC.

Thanks. I'm planning to acid wash and stone wash the Delica and my Mini Grip sometime this weekend. I think it's going to really add to the look and make it mine. I'll share some pictures when I get it done.
