EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

That's one of the the three that @Wavicle had up on the CRK Exchange isn't it? I was greatly tempted by those as well and was just able to hold off as I'd recently bought a PJ Inkosi Insingo and subsequently had Andrey Biryukov make me an out-of-stock knife the next week. Still, I had to take a deep breath to resist. That's a beauty you got there and I think was my favorite of the three. Nice grab.[/QUOTE]

Yeah this was one of 25s that Wavicle had forsale, just received them today
Got the ladder and basketweave. i forgot howmuch i like the crk 25
Havent carried my 25 cf in 4-5 years

And....

I'm a day late to the dog pile, but the light was gone before I could get a pic last night. You should know I only keep these uglies around so all the money I spend on mid-techs doesn't seem like such a waste.

The missing Endura is in my pocket, though its little Pakkawood brother would have been the better choice for Hideous Hap40 Delica Day. :p

Maybe you wouldn’t be given such a hard time if you actually contributed something positive to this community rather than just digging up members’ old posts and making snarky comments about them. Just a thought.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who has been so kind in correcting my opinion that spydercos are butt ugly. I appreciate all your help.

All in good fun. :)

I’ll admit there are a couple models “only a mother could love.” And then there are some outright lookers. But many Spydies really only shine when you use them. They are made to be used, and make a lot more sense when put to work.

The Spydie Hole is the best opener in the business IMHO. It’s my favorite at least. Simplicity in design, great ergos, great cutters for factory blades, great bang for the buck...there’s a lot of reasons they tend to multiply.

I like the 25 a lot too, as well as being a big fan of my 21's. My 25 Starbenza has the freest action of any of my several CRKs. I had a PJ 25 that I traded away in a deal for my Shiro Tabargan and, missing that, recently picked up a second Inkosi-- a PJ Insingo--that I'm greatly enjoying.

I really like the Inkosi too and, as it's actually a re-branded and improved 25, I've always just considered them to be the same knife. Despite having loved the Chad Nichols Fade Damascus on a TiSpine I used to own, I'm not a big fan of the iterations of his steels on the current crop of CRKs and much prefer the Devin Thomas versions like yours. I also like the way Damascus looks on a Plain Jane and will continue to keep an eye out for a PJ DT 25. Congrats on your two!!

...and, to get back on topic for this thread while being CRK-influenced....
