Spent the week thus far on a camping trip with the family celebrating my 44th birthday. We went to lake Wenatchee which is becoming a yearly tradition for us. For the most part I carried the Jurassic, Dragonfly, and LT Wright. I used the Benchmade Bushcrafter for camp tasks, a couple of Mora for food prep, my Estwing maul for splitting firewood, and a Nerf blaster for chipmunk control ;). I couldn't have asked for a better way to bring in another year of life :).

Made Niçoise salad for lunch and paired it with the little EDC I'd finished the handle on this morning. Then went out to Bryce Creek with my Esee JG3.

looking good J!

managed to get the main structure up on the kids playset. Doesn't look like much yet but working solo has its challenges lol and im definitely no carpenter. Slow and steady with the sage 5 along for the ride this morning, one of my favorite 3” blades.

Back to a faithful friend today, the 551-1 Grip. :)

The 154CM 551 was one of my first nice knives when I started really getting into collecting about five years ago, and the -1 version is a lovely upgrade. This Grip exemplifies "midsize modern EDC all-rounder" better than any other knife in my collection. It's a joy to handle and use.
