This is the exact version I was going to get, congrats brother it looks awesome.
Thanks brother! Much appreciated. I couldn’t be happier with the Ember. If you’re still looking to pick one up, I believe his pre order for the next batch is still open. PM me if you’d like a link, and I’d be happy to send it over. Hope you’re still getting a kick out of the Mula. Your pics have me eagerly anticipating mine :)

I have to concur with 1967redrider 1967redrider , btw, that pretzel looks insanely delicious right about now!

Thanks for the offer, I really like it but I'm saving for a few other projects right now.

And yes the Mula is a great all around edc. It hasn't left my pocket since I got it. I've already perfected the spydieflip, thumbflip, downward flip and even gotten the front flip down with a wrist flick. I know its not a front flipper but it has the jimped ramp and with the right wrist flick you can make it happen pretty consistently. Needless to say this thing checks a lot of boxes for me.

Cheers sir!!

I didn't know you could get spy27 in a g-10 version. Was that a sprint? How is Spy27?

Left work an hour early, but found this in a drawer in my office. I remember this concert, Randolph street festival in Chicago, 2006 I believe. I thought it would go good with my GB1 for CF Friday. I have a picture with band somewhere.

I blade-swapped this from the original Cobalt blue lightweight scales. My hands lean to the dry side. The FRN grip pattern Spyderco chose for the Para 3 is just too slippery for me to EDC. The FRN texture is not as aggressive in comparison to something like the Native 5 (which is very well done), but their G10 is fantastic.

As for the SPY27 steel, I'm a big fan. It behaves like something in between S35VN and M390. It has the balanced qualities of a low maintenance EDC steel. It's easy to sharpen, takes a keen edge that lasts a good while and I don't have to worry about my grubby fingerprints leaving rust spots.
