It was going to be New Boot Day, with the same Alox, and a cell phone pic because the camera batteries didn't charge.

Until I saw this.

It didn't say anything in the description about them being insulated, but I guess all the 8" Endurance versions are. I tossed the receipt, I waxed 'em, and it's been way more than 30 days. I guess they're snow boots, now.

New Boot Day is a big deal for this knuckle dragger, but now, it's "I guess I'll wear the old ones, after all", day. The quality contrast of the two photos kinda illustrates how today is shaping up.

Going with a couple small ones today and it’s a nice change of pace. Bit the bullet and tried out a Kizer, and I’ll admit it, it’s a well made knife...especially for the price.

*my only compliant, the thumb stub is a little sharp.
