Catching up late on this one. Those are some stellar pics right there. Not going to lie, a little jealousy over here on some of the places/views you can hike to. Don’t get me wrong, I have my fair share of great outdoors up here but, those mountain horizon views are something else. Congrats to you guys for making it this time.

P.S. almost forgot, cool knives too but, you know, the views and all that stuff.

Thanks brother! Yea, we love it here. It was a pretty big sacrifice moving from the security we had back home in Florida to the other corner of the country, all while keeping things going in both places. Sure would have alot more funds for knives and such otherwise, but the experiences have made it all worth it. Not sure how long I can keep it up, but I plan to make the best of it while I can .

I'll be spending some time at the beach/coast today. My go-tos..... Spyderco Siren and Opinel.

The Siren takes the cake for that excursion hands down, mine still could pass for new, not a mark on it anywhere, and I use it too.

Very true. The Siren in my photos has been used for a dozen trips and has only the slightest scuff marks. I always worry taking knives to the beach/water but not with these two. I use the Siren in the garden as well.

2 Mail calls today and a great way to start the weekend The first one is a Finch model #1929. I’m a sucker for ghost green lol and I must say this knife is built well I’m very impressed. Dead centered blade , nice action thats very smooth and no lock stick and rock solid. This knife also passes the fidget factor with flying colors! The dealer isn’t a payed BF dealer so can’t give them props but as usual very fast shipping and just a outstanding dealer. They also have one in red g10 That looks nice and is there dealer exclusive but preferred the ghost green.

This one gets two thumbs up what a beautiful knife and the natural Micarta is gorgeous and feels so good in hand. This might be one of the sharpest knives out of the box I’ve ever received with a perfect symmetrical edge it’s a mirror image on both sides. This one was from a different dealer and again not BF dealer but don’t think I would mention them anyway
They pretty much only carry high end knives which I like but Had a bad experience with there shipping requiring signatures on both my orders but was unaware the first time but that was my bad since it was a $1100.00 Strider and should of known. Had to jump threw some hoops to get that one as I worried after it returned to the post office until I could pick it up like 4 or 5 days later since they didn’t leave a sign here slip if you want it lol. Working 10 to 12 hours a day had sweat it out for the longest 5 days in my life. Didn’t buy from the dealer again just because of the bad ju ju I delt with even though it wasn’t there fault. Still remained on there mail list and browsed periodically but didn’t buy for a few years until now They were the only dealer that had the Small CRK 31 in natural Micarta and none of my go to worry free dealers had it. This time read all the small print and it said anything over 500.00 requires a signature. So I figured I was ok since it was 475.00 just under the 500 mark. Nope they sent it again sig required. So yesterday expecting have it waiting for me I get a Email Notification of an attempted delivery sig required I’m pretty upset at this point and call from work trying to keep my composure at the same time. Explain to them how they weren’t suppose to send it sig required or I would planned accordingly if I’d a known. They apologized and as I explained I might not be able to get it and if they send it back just credit my account. Basically through out the conversation he kept saying I feel ya. Every time He said that “which was very often”I could feel my face heating up lol and my blood pressure moving up a few notches.
Took them off the mailing list ! They lost a customer and I was going to start buying from them again.
Can you feel me now ?

Fortunately this one I was able to request redelivery and sign for it since they left a greeny
Good news back to the knife I Absolutely love it !!!!! It’s a fine example and glad I gave the CRK 31 a try. Next on the list probably a large 31

Only working a couple hours this morning then off to my sons first soccer game. Kicked the Inkosi out and carried a 21 out of guilt Only going to be cutting roof insulation to mark some holes for the roofers.
