EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

We decided at the last minute to head up to Vermont this weekend, although J had said last month that we should go up for my birthday which is Sunday. We haven't been up for almost a year. It's really hard to get away over the late fall and winter running my youth basketball club and the league. As I had my big sheetmetal job too, we decided to save the plow money this time around and not keep our place open over the last winter. By mud season the virus had hit we didn't think we should travel with all the restrictions, quarantines and the like, especially since our little VT town and those surrounding had zero cases and it seemed not right for a couple potentially infectious flatlanders to be wandering around up there.

Anyway, we're packing today, gonna sit out the rain tomorrow, and head up on my name day. I shot these pics of my large WC 25 Framelock Friday carry on the cargo partition of J's Frontier as I was sweeping out the bed and preparing to load up the saws, woods gear, and water among other stuff we'll load under the tonneau.

My wife had been out checking on the plants after the storm blew through last night and brought this leaf in. Take a picture she said, so I grabbed the first knife I came to. The remnants of Hurricane Laura spawned a few tornados in our area and the Emergency Weather Alert and tornado siren woke me up. Hope everyone is doing well today.

What a nice pairing you’ll be sporting. And here I am taking just a quick 72 hour hiatus and I’m suddenly 12 pages behind. Well, I’ll get to watch a good part of the week unfold in record time now. You guys amaze me with your quality and variety, I’m in awe, thanks.

I really like how your SAK compliments your Kershaw in that picture. Thats such a great looking combo together side by side, thanks for posting such a great picture of that pair.
All I had to do today was run errands and get some stuff done around the house, so I’m in shorts and flip flops. They’re a perfect pair if I’m not going far from home.

My cousin and best friend would be 41 tomorrow. He died of cancer in 2017.

In finishing unpacking from moving, his sister came upon a box of things he left to me, including this mid-80's signed Cubs baseball. Actually, there are two, I don't know the exact year's, but both have Ryne Sandberg.

I’m very sorry for your loss. I too have a couple of boxes I’ve yet to unpack, I’m just not ready yet.

Thanks Brother ! I also always enjoy your tasteful pictures to

Man, color me impressed, this little guy really is the perfect EDC for my shorts.... light enough to not drag my shorts down but just big enough to be a 4 finger knife and a blade that slices. I imagine it would work in a dress coat and slacks too, not too heavy to make your lightweight wool sag down.

Oh, it won’t sag. While going through my daughters wedding pictures, upon a blow up, lo and behold, there was my Socom sitting ever so nice, tight, and incognito in the right front pocket, classic, lol!!!

Titillating Tuesday’s carry :D

Don’t try this at home
Had this wedged between my tires after a delivery at a rural construction site today.

You are one of the rare few to check between the rear duals, same as I always did. I used to chuckle when I would see those tailgaters up close and personal to the gravel boys just leaving a site. Karma always seemed to win in those situations, lol.

Your Bradley has been added to my check out list for awhile, just a matter of hitting 3 buttons to have it on my doorstep you enabler you! It looks super my friend.
