Oohhhhh... love that scale material!

That is a darn good looking Mini Grip and the dyed wooden blanks you have look amazing. I need to do something like that to my Mini Grip. I'll have to find some ebony Macassar because I think that wood is the most beautiful natural material on Earth, although Fire Opal, in my opinion, is right there with it as for as looks and is about the same price. Yes, high quality ebony Macassar is pretty expensive. I always said that if I ever get married that I want the wedding rings to be made from ebony Macassar. Somehow, if I can design one using ebony Macassar, Fire Opals, and Damascus I'd be willing to ask whoever makes it to marry me, lol because I'm assuming that person would be Chris Reeve because he already makes knives using both ebony Macassar and Damascus. He just needs to add some fire opal and is be forever in love with it. I'd prefer it to be an Mnandi, but I'd be pretty darn happy if it was a small sabenza as well. I'm one of those strange people that likes my EDC's to be under 3", preferably 2-2.5"

Aaaaahhhhh. Some knife days are truly exceptional.

I manage a store in a shitty part of Portland. We have a steady stream of thieves every day, many of whom are bold and act as though you’re a horrible human being of you don’t let them steal.

One such cockroach is a regular who we’ve seen riding around on a bike previously. A couple weeks ago, the idiot parked his bike in the vestibule of my store and did a grab and dash of a low cost item. In his haste, he left the bike behind.

We wrote off the loss, and put the bike in our break room as a fun trophy. I made a meme. We got some laughs out of it.

Today, we said goodbye to our trophy. Being the sentimental type, I couldn’t say goodbye to the air in the tires. I liberated that with my Ursa Minor before parking his bike in the dumpster.

Don’t worry, he’ll just steal another bike.

And I would especially love it if CRK use bigger scales on the sabenzas. I'd prefer it to be one bigger piece on the show side than those two small pieces.

The older Regular Sibenzas have one large scale. There is actually a few different versions of the subenza. The thing is the regular sobenzas are sometimes more expensive, particularly the ones with inlays.

They are such good knives though. If the only way you will like it is for it to have those larger single piece inlays try and find a Regular Sabenza, everyone should try a CRK atleast once.

;)
