EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I like that look of that! Who makes it? Not sure I recognize the makers mark.

You are correct, noway, it's a Cheburkov small Strisch.

I'm starting to appreciate the knife quite a bit, Halden, now that the action is smooth and free as I assume it was when it left the maker. I think it probably sat in inventory too long and whatever lube there was dried out.

With a 3 3/8" blade, the knife is stupidly light at 2 5/8 oz. It's essentially linerless, with the lock-bar set up much like the NorthArm Skaha, tied into the clip with an internal screw and in this case wedged under the shortish backspacer. The pivot is mounted through the CF slabs only, which may explain why it's free-spinning. This is my first blade in Vanadis8 so I have no experience with this steel other than this one came wicked sharp. :)

For the past 3 days, I have "carried" the same two knives...as in, pocketed them in the morning, left them in my truck all day, and pocketed them again in theevening. It was not because I considered these knives disposable (sentimental value - I've had them for nearly 20 years, and they're long since discontinued), just a matter of convenience - no sense spending time deciding which knives to carry, when I'm really not going to have them with me.
Two from AG Russell (well, the folder was a Camillus, special release for AGR)

I guess I'm carrying a Benchmade Grip today. Just bought it from some guy on the bus stop for exactly 23 dollars. I noticed the clip and I asked him about it. He showed me his and I showed him the Kizer Sheepdog I had and explained how I collect knives. He asked if I wanted to buy it and I said all I had was 23 bucks

Wow, that's a very reasonable price. I wonder where he picked it up from.
