Haven't handled the manual...yet. This is a super smooth auto. Love the Hawk Lock, handle fills the hand very nicely....oh yeah, and it cuts good.

He said his roommate left it after he moved out and he just started using it from there. It's pretty clean but needs lube, very lightly used. I guess the guy needed the money more than a knife so everyone wins.

One thing for sure though, new scales are in my future. Compared to my Rift and Contego this feels like a toy

That's a great deal on a great knife. I love Grips, but hate the stock scales. I've got 6 of 'em, 5 with aftermarkets and one KW 551-1702 in Micarta and M390. Lotsa great choices out there for Griptilian upgrades.
