The name of that knife always makes me think of a low priced toboggan. Lol.
I recall you mentioning that before. Searching "Tabargan" for translation from the Russian leads one back to Tarbagan, an Asian marmot native to Russia, China, and particularly Mongolia where it has been eaten for centuries as a local dish called boodog, prepared by placing hot stones in the abdominal cavity of the skinned rodent, tying up the carcass as a bag for cooking. Gross.

Tarbagans also carry a deadly form of pneumonic plague which can be passed on to humans by flea bites or consumption of the animal's flesh.

Think I'll stick with the knife, thank you very much, Shirogorov's spelling thereof, and your thought of a low priced sled. :p

25OT 2 blade slipjoint Folding Hunter.
858OT "Lumberjack" large Stockman.

(There is a significant color difference between the Taylor/BTI offshore Saw Cut Delrin and the old Schrade USA saw cut Delrin.)
