After a little back and forth here with AndrewH60 about VG10 and another discourse with @Gary W. Graley at The Official Lanyard Thread about compression locks, I figured it was fitting to make this a Superleaf Sunday. It would please me if the knife had a more substantial blade steel, but VG10 does take a nice edge easily and there's a lot else to like here--compression lock, great grip in hand, wire clip, that broad, slicey, leaf of a blade--and I always enjoy carrying and using this one.

The deer are relentlessly eating all our crops this season. Trying to get this propane cannon working and using these two tools to tweak the connections and secure the irrigation sub-main.

If I can’t get it going...looks like another night sleeping in the truck!

It’s a tool that makes a very loud concussive blast. The idea is it scares birds/deer to stay away. It’s about the equivalent of a .308 in sound.

Fuel usage will depend if I set it to one, two, or three shots; and what time increments chosen.
