Thank you. The 0640 and the 0393 both are sporting marbled CF from Sharp Dressed Knives. I have some satin titanium hardware heading this way for both of them.

I never got out of my sweatpants today. We usually end up wrapping all our presents late on Christmas Eve. Figured I’d be a champ and take some initiative today, so I started wrapping while my wife was out running some last minute work errands. Between this and that and a few quick breaks (to snap some knife pics).....it turned into an all-day affair.

I pray I haven’t set some kind of new precedent she’s gonna expect every year.

Anyway, this was meant to be my “special occasion” knife. Turned out to be my “sweatpants and t-shirt” knife today....

That’s one of my favorites for sure.
USA Knifemakers makes an outstanding stabilized spalted maple. Not only is it beautiful but it’s also very easy to work with.
I made the CF bolsters first. The spalted scales next. Then I connected the two with G10 slabs from the back side.
A little more sanding/shaping an wallah, your there.
Today it’s this
Full size Crooked River w/ full length canvas scales, a full length canvas cogged back-spacer all with hidden screws.
