I've always had a soft spot for the Benchmade 940 (the base model with the green aluminum handle scales was my first "expensive" knife that I bought a few years ago), but lately it's taken a back seat to some other blades from Benchmade and other manufacturers. However, when I first found out about the SMKW 940DLC-1802, I fell in love all over again - just not with the retail price! However, I was fortunate enough to snag this absolute beauty off of a fellow forum member who decided it wasn't for him (thanks @GH9000) for a fair price and I've been carrying it outside of my working hours since I got it! However, today is its first full day in the pocket!

The first of a few takedowns. The Domino helped make it compactor ready by separating big panels, and removing adhesive-mounted plastic sections throughout.
