Blade spine is actually 100% on desktop but balanced it in the perfect spot where the grain gets lighter toward the tip. So, it looks like it is balanced just at the Spydie hole. Surprised me too after I took it.

It took me a minute.

Light reflecting off the blade, onto the desktop, allows your brain to believe that the light is actually passing underneath the blade. I think the grain of the desk helps the illusion, and the fact that your don't have parallax, when you're looking at a photo.

Another one from DLT, correct? Your pictures are what got me interested in these knives. Already ordered another because the fit and finish of the one I just received is perfect. I think I’m starting down a rabbit hole of which there may be no end.
